Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas produced by incomplete combustion of any fossil fuel. It is odorless, tasteless and colorless and can leak from pipes, cooking stoves and heating systems not perfectly maintained or damaged. Each sensor is tested and calibrated with the reference gas.
